A very bad day. It has snowed all the evening the ground is white.

The men could not do anything much.

Josie got dinner.

Mrs Carr knit some.

I finished a pair of socks for the Red Cross ladies. I have knit ten pair that is all the yarn that I have got.

A good day. Ben and Owen plowed most of the day. Josie got dinner.

Isla come over here this morning. I went [with] her to see Ben. We come by the plant beds and got a few cabbage plants.

We had early supper and all went to the school house. The Gretna folks come down and gave a play for the benefit of the Red Cross. There was a big crowd there.

A good day. Ben cut his oats.

Josie got dinner. She baked a cake and fixed for supper at Stanton High School. They will be a play there to night by some of the Renan crowd.

Paul went a bout 2 in the evening. I hope that they may make good. The proceeds will go to the Red Cross.

A good day. Ben got up hay this evening. Ben and family and Paul Bennett went to Clover Bottom to a Red Cross meeting. It rained down there I wish it had of rained here.

Josie raked hay. I finished dinner.
