A good day.

Ben and family staid at home to day. Mrs Carr is here with them. She had the head ache all day. I went with Posie and Nannie Kate to see Alice and Jim Thompson to day. I think they are so well fixed for new beginners. That has bin a grand old place and is good yet.

Hazel Smith is broke out with something the Dr says he thinks it is scarlet fever. Henry is not well to night. Hope they both will be well soon.

A good warm day.

Ben went to Cedar Forest brough the things that Mrs Carr gave them.

Bought roofing for the barn. Got home about 2 oclock.

Josie done a big washin. I got dinner.

Josie and Edna and Franklin went to Carries this evening. Earnest Lovelace come to Carries this morning to work.

Mrs Carr has a head ache to night.

A good day.

Mr Turner staid here last night. I like what I know of him fine. Paul Bennett went to Whittles today. Henry Blair carried Mr Turner to Long Island this morning. Ben and family and I went to George Blairs this evening. They had a lot of company. Earnest and Lottie was there. Lizzie and Earl and Lonnie Bennett come while I was there. Denia was sick. Ethel and Wren and family was there. To night Ben has a head ache. Hope he will be better by morning.

A good day.

Ben and Owen went to the mill did not get any grinding. Ben helped Marvin fix his pump a gain to day. Helped Owen fix his stove pipe. Miss Willie Wooding come a while this evening.

Josie made her a dress this evening. To night Ben and Paul and the children went to Renan bought shells. Paul killed two rabbits. Kate sent the calf home this morning.

I went to see Bens and Pauls crops this evening. It looks good now. We need rain.

Josie has sick head ache. I hope she will soon be well.

A good day. Ben and Owen and Marvin went to South Boston to day. Carried tobacco on their cars. They had some trouble but got there in time to sell. They were very well pleased with the sales. Got home a good while before night.

Josie done a big washing this morning. To night she has sick headache. I commenced a sock for Kate to send to Charlie Harvey. I went to Marvins a little while this evening. There is sickness nearly every where at this time. I do hope that the people may soon get well.
