A cool cloudy day.

Ben carried me to Renan this morning. I staid with Charles nearly all day. He is very bad off yet. Mag had quite crow[d] to day for dinner Miss Alice Wooding Mrs Duckey Kellie Mrs Sallie Strance.

A mink caugh one of my hens that was setting.

Josie killed a chicken and baked a cake.

Miss Mayhan and Virginia come here a while.

A good day.

Ben went to Renan this morning for plow points. Went to see Mag a few minutes.

Josie done a big washing and finished by twelve oclock.

Marvin Smith went to Altavista this evening. The three boys and I went with him. I had no business. He kindly offered to take me. I had a pleasant evening. We saw Mr Rice and Mr Rorer. I was glad to see them.

A cloudy day some rain this evening.

Ben went to the mill this morning. Mr Owens plowed. Josie ironed some and got dinner. Finished quilting her quilt this morning. I went to see Mag this evening. Edna went with me. Found them all well. Odie and Lottie and Miss Jessie Kellie was there. I come by Kates. Kate Reynolds was there.

The red hogs pigs came today.

A good day. Ben and family went to visit Jim Power and family.

I staid at home until evening then went to Marvins. Mag Brumfield and Kate Harvey was there and some of the children.

Marvin carried them home and then brough me home. Carrie come with us did not get out of the car.

Paul Bennett went with Marvin to Sunday School and then to Blairs.

A good day.

Ben plowed the garden and potatoes this morning.

He cut his rye today.

Paul Bennett come home at twelve oclock.

Paul carried Josie and the children and I up to Renan. We went to see Kate Harvey and Mag Brumfield this evening. Johnson and Mollie Reynolds went to Charlottesville to day to see Clifton married. Julia and Howard Fergerson come to Reynolds yesterday.
