A good day. Very warm. Ben & Jim finished getting up their hay and plowed some in the corn. Josie and Ben went to Strait Stone this morning. Josie ironed sowed[?] some today.

I went to Carries. I did not stay long. Marvin come from Gretna with someone. He sent me home on the car. He brought some ice. Carrie & Josie made cream. We had more then we could eat. Ben & Josie has gone to Renan. Carried Kate Harveys some of the cream.

Last night a bout one in the morning a bug got in my ear. I could of cried if it would of done any good. Got it out after 3 this a.m.

A good day. Ben & Jim plowed corn all day. Nellie and Josie picked berries all the morning. They got a fine lot. Nellie preserved hers. Josie caned what she got.

I got dinner and churned. I have not seen Carrie today. Mr McNary[?] is at Marvins tonight.

None of my folks went to Strait Stone to see the show. Henry wanted to go bad. The rest did not come.

A good day. Had a little shower this evening. Jim & Ben finished plowing corn today. Jim helped pick berries this evening. Ben worked on the shelters at the barn. He went to Clack Hubbards and got some nails and sugar. Christenia Reynols was here this evening. She come on a bycile. Henry could not let it a lone.

I went to Marvins a few minutes this evening. Carrie had washed today. Josie done a big washing this morning. Nellie caned some berries this morning.

A good day. We need rain very bad. Jim plowed some this morning. Ben went to Richard Woodings and helped top his tobacco & thin corn. Richard is in a hospittle. There was some 7 or 8 men to help.

Josie washed a big washing this morning. This evening Ben & Josie & Fannie & Julia, Edna & Franklin & Mabel all went to the store. Tonight Ben & Josie and Fannie and Julia has all gone to Piny Grove to preaching.

I went to Marvins a few minutes. I lost my glasses this evening. We had I put them in a book and Henry carried them up stairs. Mr John Smith and part of his family come to Marvins this evening.

Capt Tate is dead.

A good day. Sprinkled rain a few times. Not enough to do any good. Jim & Ben and Henry worked in the tobacco all day.

Josie washed a big washing. I helped some. We had corn & caned beef for dinner. This evening Isla & Cordie come to see Mrs Car. I was glad to see them if they did not come to see me. Trinkle was elected yester day. We are all sorry.

I have not seen any of Marvins folks today. Reese would of carried me to White Falls but I was a fraid there would be a cloud. I am sorry that I did not go.
