A cloudy day warm and good. Ben & Owen worked on the wheat land. Jim has not bin well. He had the tooth ache and his jaw is swolen. Josie got the most of the dinner. Nellie attended to the baby.

To day is my birth day. I am 73 years olde. I got up at five oclock and got breakfast. Seven: milked two cows then churned. Washed 68 pieces and went to Marvins. Come home and milked.

Nellie & Josie got the supper. I kept the baby.

Ben said he would carrie me to the river. I had no one to go with me. Thought I would wait and go some other day if I can.

I started John a letter to day.

Ben has gone hunting to night.

A cloudy day. The men stripped tobacco to day. Josie got dinner and supper. Nellie brough the water.

This evening Ben carried Henry and I to White Falls. I caught 30 fish. Henry caught five. Ben killed two squirrels.

I got three letters to day. One from Effie, John, & Julia Fergerson. I am always so glad to get letters.

I dug the bait to fish with. Edna helped me get them. She is a good help when she will.

A good day. Jim plowed. Ben went to Altavista to have his teeth worked on. He got his worke done. Henry went with Ben.

Josie washed and ironed a silk shirt for Jim. We had turnip salit for dinner. The boys have a nice bed of salit.

I have bin at home all day and no one come. Was thinkin that John might come. Hope he will come soon.

Cloudy most of the day but no rain. Jim worked in the garden most of the day. Ben went to the island for guano. Carried a log to the saw mill. Henry went with him. Josie got dinner and supper. She baked light rolls for supper. I ironed all the morning. Tonight John come to see us. I am glad that he come.

Jim has a very bad colde. I am sorry for him.

A cloudy day and rain this evening. We all staid at home until noon. John and I walked to Johnson Reynolds. He brough us home on his car.

Mollie & Julia and Christenia and Mildred come with us home but did not get out of the car. Ben and family went to Marvins.

The weather has turned colde and the wind is blowing to night.
