A cloudy day. Ben went to George Blairs this morning. This evening he went to Mr Worshams with Chesley Edmons. Mr Owen plowed. Josie ironed most all day.
I went to Jim Doss s. Mrs Doss was getting on fine so far as I could see.
I come back by Mr Bailiss they were all well.
Denia and Cordie Blair come this evening. I am sorry that I was not at home.

Monday, April 1, 1918
Some rain to day not enough to stop work. Ben helped Marvin Smith cover his barn. Mr Owen plowed.
Josie got dinner and colored some eggs for the children and made some bats for her quilt.
Carrie and the children was here a while this evening. The children had a time hunting eggs. I sowed a few seed in the garden to day.
Eleven oclock by the new time.

A clear good day.
Ben cleaned up the land for Mr Owens to plow.
Josie put a quilt in the frames. Isla and Cordie Blair come and helped her quilt this evening.
I got dinner.

A cloudy day some rain this evening.
Ben went to the mill this morning. Mr Owens plowed. Josie ironed some and got dinner. Finished quilting her quilt this morning. I went to see Mag this evening. Edna went with me. Found them all well. Odie and Lottie and Miss Jessie Kellie was there. I come by Kates. Kate Reynolds was there.

Saturday, April 6, 1918
Ben and Owen plowed some. Josie baked a cake this morning.
Marvin Smith carried Reese and Henry and I to White Falls fishing. We did not catch anything.
Carrie and Marvin went to the Dr with Hazel this evening. He thinks that she has scarlet fever in a milde form. I hope she may soon be well.
