A cloudy day and some rain. Ben moved some tobacco and cut some. Josie and I helped to move and Josie helped to unload the waggon with green tobacco.

I went to Carries a little while this evening.

Mollie Reynolds come and got some snaps.

I got a letter from Mary Brumfield this evening.

A good day. Ben loaded the waggon this morning ready for market in the morning. The men will stay at the barns to night

Josie helped to load the waggon. I got most of the dinner. We looked for [ink stain] Mollie and Julia all the evening. They did not come. Julia come a bout sundown. She got a few snaps and some butter. Paul carried her home. To night Lizzie + Alma and Earl come to Johnsons. Paul carried Mary and I up there. We staid until ten oclock have just got home.

A good day. Ben and Owen fired tobacco all day and will stay with it tonight.

Ben has gone to Strait Stone tonight to the Lodge.

Josie ironed this morning.

This evening I went to see Mollie. She was washing her floors up stairs.

Carrie went to preaching this evening. Kate Harvey staid with the little children while she was gone.

Marvin carried Kate home and I come with him back. I was glad of the ride.

A good day. Paul and Owen Josie and I and the children finished stripping Pauls curing of tobacco this morning and commenced on Bens.

Josie come home to get dinner. She fried chicken and baked cocoanut pies. A bout twelve Gordon and Alma and Ola and Frances Bennett come for dinner. After dinner Bruce Reynolds and his mother come a few minutes. I was glad to see them all. Ben sowed wheat most of the day. This evening Nat Wooding phoned for Ben to come to Reynolds mail box and help him work on his car. Ben went. They could not fix it. They brought it here. Sidney Reynolds come after Nat and carried him home.

Paul finished sowing wheat. Mollie gave me a nice box of candy a birth day present. Marvin Smith paid our taxes this evening. Paul and Ben has bin at the barn to night hangin and putting tobacco in the pit.

A good day. Ben and Owen went to Altavista this morning got home by dinner time.

Josie mended some garments this morning. We got a snack for dinner.

This evening I went to see Mollie. She was making a dress for her self. They had a mighty sick pig. I think it will die.

Mr and Mrs John Smith come to see Marvin and Carrie this evening. They had two of the girls with them.

Josie and Franklin went to Mr Owens this evening.
