A good day. Ben went to Strait Stone and Cedar Forest hunting peas to sow. He got some from Lee B. Josie washed a big washing this morning. I got dinner. This evening I went to Posey Reynolds to see the new baby.

There was a house full of company there.

Did not see Mollie Reynolds she was gone to Jim Thompsons.

We bough war stamps from Irvin Lewis to day. Tom Starkey come by here on his car and brough me home from Johnson's barn.

Paul has gone to the school house a gain to night.

Rain in the night. Clear to day and wind blowin. Josie got dinner. She cooked cabbage and potatoes made ice cream. Ben went to Strait Stone for the ice. Ben and Owen and Paul plowed in the corn finished laying by Bens and commenced on Owens. Josie went to see Nannie Reynolds and the baby. Went over to see Mollie and Jane.

Virginia and Delma Owen come this evening. The children and I chopped the grass out of the path this evening.

A good day. Clouds a bout this evening but no rain here. Paul suckered tobacco all day. Ben suckered four rows this morning and then went to Chatham. I went with him. We staid longer than Ben thought he would have to stay. We eat dinner at Mrs Woodings. She had a good plain dinner.

Mr John and Willie Baily and Mrs Hines come with Ben as far as their home.

Josie gathered some grapes this morning. We picked them off the stems to night.

Mollie sent over and got some grapes. Jane and Clifton come. I saw Alma and Lonnie at Chatham.

A beautiful day.

Ben and Paul suckered tobacco. Josie got dinner and canned some tomatoes. This evening she scrubbed the cook room floor.

I went to see Mollie Reynolds. She is not well but a bout.

I did not see Miss Kate or Mrs Jane they were taking their evening nap. Doris Brumfield and Christine Reynolds and Delma Owen come to Marvins a while this evening.
