SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6, 1941
We went to town this afternoon. Mother, Robert & I went to Jessie's. Mother & I went with Sis down in town & we did part of our Xmas shopping. Robert cried a good deal so I guess I won't leave Robert anymore with Jessie unless Mother will stay with him. Mother, Rex, Robert & I went to Sis & will spend the night. Listened to Dock's new Radio tonight.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7, 1941
We spent the day with Sis. We persuaded her to go to Sunday School this morning. Lonna, B.J., Bobby, Jimmy, Amelia, Jim, Nora Lee & Evelyn came to Sis this afternoon. They started to come see us but John Marion told them we were a Nannie Mae's so they came there a little while.
