We didn't go to town today as the roads were bad. It has snowed some today. Mother & I washed for Bobby & fixed some sleeves in one of his dresses. Made long sleeves instead of short ones. Rex has been gathering apples.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 1941
It is snowing some today. It seems odd to see it snowing when there are flowers in bloom in the yard & some green grass & leaves. Mother gathered some flowers & brought them in the house. Rex brought some green tomatoes from the garden & a few ripe ones. We have had a little frost but hasn't killed anything much.
