SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 1941
Rex went to town this afternoon but Mother & I didn't go as we had so much work to do. I made 8 pies 4 pineapple and 4 coconut and a number of other things.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 1941
It sprinkled rained today. Mother & I have worked a good deal today. We boiled a ham and I made 5 apple pies. We have been fixing for the Silo filling tomorrow. I washed a few pieces for Bobby Louis. He is getting to be a better boy. He hasn't had the Colic very much for some time. Mr. & Mrs. Barnett Ashby & little daughter came a little while this afternoon. John & Alma came also.
