Rex has been away from home. He has been helping Albert cut tobacco. We hae done the general house work.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 1941
Rex helped John Marion cut tobacco today. He was so tired that we didn't go to town tonight. I made a cake today that was nearly a failure. My stove is getting so it won't cook hardly at all.
