THURSDAY, AUGUST 14, 1941
Rex went down on the River today to the sheep eating. We canned 1 gallon of tomatoes. We cut off some peaches to dry this afternoon.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 15, 1941
I washed my head, pressed a dress and cleaned up on the house. Mother made a cake. We haven't done anything much this afternoon except play with Robert Louis.
