We canned 2 gallons of beans & have done the general house work. Willie finished ironing. Rex & Jay went to Pleasant View this afternoon & got some corn, apples, grapes & Damson's.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 9, 1941
Rex & Jay went to town this afternoon. Mother & I made 4 gallons and 1 qt of grape juice today. Jessie & Sis came this afternoon.
