MONDAY, JUNE 23, 1941
We have done the general house work. Mother & I took a long walk this afternoon & went to see about the plumbs. I sure got tired before I got back to the house.

TUESDAY, JUNE 24, 1941
We got Willie a colored lady to wash for us. I got sick this afternoon. As Rex wasn't at home and it looked so much like rain. Mother called Sis to come for me. Sis called Dr. Finley late this afternoon. When he came he took me to the hospital. He syd the baby won't be born before morning. Sis, Mother & rex all went to the hospital & stayed all night. I suffered real bad part of the night.
