Mother & I started
washing today
but didn't get
much done this
morning as Rex
came to the house
& told us we
would have work
hands to fix
dinner for.
Ed. Sisk & his
two boys were here
for dinner. They
are helping get
tobacco. We stopped
washing & got dinner
for them. we washed
some in the afternoon
Mrs. Rodgers & Marie
came this afternoon.
It came a hard
rain this afternoon.
I got sick this
afternoon & am sick

Rex told us we
would have two
work hands to
cook for today.
We cooked for
them but they
were not here
as Rex got his
tobacco set
before dinner.
I have felt real
bad today & in
bed part of the
day. Mother finished
washing this afternoon
I wrenched the
clothes & hung
them out
