I ironed and mended the clothes today. William Ross came thi afternoon and will spend the night.

THURSDAY, MAY 15, 1941
I cleaned up the house & have done the general house work. Wrote Alyene Rogers. I haven't felt so well today. William Ross spend the day with us & went home this afternoon. Fern ate dinner with us. He is working for Rex. Mr. Grover Cardwell & Mr. Tom Scott were here a little while late this afternoon to see Rex. Rex got home from town soon after they arrived.
