FRIDAY, APRIL 18, 1941
I went to see Sis this afternoon. She worked on a dress for me. Leonah & Mary went to Mr. Martin Hanner's to a quilting this afternoon. Sis had aimed to go with them but wouldn't go after I went over to spend the afternoon with her. She said she could go another time.

SATURDAY, APRIL 19. 1941
Jay, Rex & I went to town this afternoon. I went to see Dr. Finley but he wasn't in his office. Dr. Scott examined my blood pressure and said it has gone down some. I went to Jessie's. Rex came for me about 10 o'clock tonight. We just did get home before a hard rain. Fern came home with Jay & will spend the night.
