AUGUST 3

1931. I embroidered some today. Turner & myself played Touring this afternoon. Turner is staying a week with us.

1932. I have been nearly sick today. Mother & Uncle Brack washed this morning and I cooked dinner & did the house work. Mother & I went to see Mrs. Conley this afternoon.

1933. Uncle Brack went home this morning. Mr. Slaton & Sis went to Sebra today to the Hancock's Re-union. I stayed home this morning & got dinner. I went to see Modest & Ruby this afternoon.

1934. Dad took me to Uncle Rufe's this afternoon & I am going to stay all night with them. Mr. Orb. Borland told us about cousin Lonnie Slanton being dead.

1935. Rex, Dock, Sis & I went to town today and voted. I had 2 teeth filled. I saw Dad in town & he said they are getting along fairly well. Ernest Ball came home with Mr. Slaton & Rex & will spend the night with us.

AUGUST 4

1931. I embroidered some today & got the wees out of the front walk. Turner, Mother & myself played Touring tonight.

1932. I ironed today. Nothing happened unusual.

1933. I pressed some dresses this morning. William Slaton came a while this afternoon. Rex went over to William's a while tonight.

1934. I stayed all day at Uncle Rufe's. Rex came this afternoon after me and we came home. Sis isn't at home. She is going to stay all night at Loyd's.

1935. Ernest spent the day with us & went home this afternoon. Mary, Stella & Fletcher came a little while this afternoon. Joseph came this afternoon.
