JUNE 30

1931. We ironed this morning. Dad & myself went to town to the car drawing this afternoon. I stopped in to see Mrs. Thomas & also Mrs. Mann a little while.

1932. Miss Nannie, Mrs. Jim Slaton & I went to town this afternoon. Reck brought me home tonight.

1933. Lin and Jess spent the day with us. Sis made me a hat today. I wrote a letter to mother today. Sis, Rex and I washed Sis car late this afternoon.

1934. Uncle Brack brought me to town this morning. I got a permanent wage today. I weighed today & weighed 128 pounds. I have lost 12 pounds in a little over 2 months. I am going to stay all night with Mrs. Mann as Rex wants to go fishing tonight. Rex came to Mrs. Mann's a little while tonight.

1935. Rudell, Paul, Rex, Sis & I went to the union Sunday School meeting at Bethelham today. Stella, Fletcher & Floyd came late this afternoon & we made some cream. Rex & I took Rudell home tonight.

JULY 1

1931. Mother and myself made me a dress today. and I pressed a dress for Ocie today.

1932. Mother & I made me a dress today. We also made some Kraut and I got the weeds out of the front walk.

1933. I got a letter from Lorene this morning saying she couldn't come to see us this week end. Rex and I went to town this afternoon and I went to see Mrs. Mann. Turner Slaton came to Mrs. Mann's while I was there. Rex and I went to Mother's late this afternoon and spent the night with her.

1934. Rex & I came home this morning. It rained today & Sis didn't get to go to chuch as she wanted to. She & Dock went to church tonight. Rev & Mrs. Gelett came home with them & will spend the night.

1935. Kate washed for us today. Sis went to Wilson's School house to the children's Vacation Bible School. Sis is one of the teachers. I canned 2 1/2 gallons of black berris & made a little jam this afternoon.
