A good day. Rain at night.
Ben & Jim & Henry suckered
tobacco until twelve oclock
then Ben went to Renan
and got fruit jars and tops
and rubbers
.

Jim and Ben hauled a
lot of olde boards to the
wood pile.

Josie and I worked on grapes
most of the day. This evening
I picked a few dried
beans and got some sweet
potatoes
, the first that we
have had of this years
crop. Josie gathered some
snaps & strung them and
got Irish potatoes for dinner,
tomorrows dinner.

Prince is much better than
he was yesterday.
