4. That Christ the great and good Shepherd
knows all his sheep "My sheep hear my voice and I know
them." He knows them so as to distinguish them so as to observe
and take notice of them so as to own and approve them so as to take
care of them and provide for them. And so the Lord knoweth who
are his so he knoweth who are not his too as he knows his
sheep so he knows the goats also and their place will be at his
left hand. "My sheep hear my voice and I know them."
