A good day cool for May.
We all staid at home until
after dinner. Nellie Brumfield
was here. We had fried chicken
and coconut pies for dinner.
This evening Ben and Jim and Josie
and Franklin went with Nellie
to Gretna. They were gone three
hours. I went to Marvins

Maggie Brumfield and two
children was there. I was glad
to see them
