92. SEED CATALOGUE AND GARDEN GUIDE.

NURSERY STOCK.
Nothing is more healthful than fruit, and nothing more easily grown. No farm, garden or city lot is complete without a few fruit trees and small fruit plants. It is essential that you secure good plants and trees in order to grow good fruit. We aim to send out only the very best stock, which with necessary care in planting and cultivating will surely give satisfactory results. The following prices are all for first-class stock, carefully packed for shipping. Fifty or more of any variety at the hundred rate. Where quoted "by express" the purchaser is to pay the transportation charges by express or freight. Orders for nursery stock must amount to at least fifty cents. Ask for special prices on large orders, sending list of wants.

RASPBERRIES.
NEW CARDINAL.--This wonderful berry surprises all by its great growth, extreme hardiness, exceeding productiveness and the unusual richness of its pure flavored, large purple berries. Leading horticulturists everywhere have pronounced it oue [one] of the fruit wonders of the century and the most profitable of all sorts. Each 20c, doz. $1.25, prepaid. By express per 100 $2.75.
CUMBERLAND.--This is undoubletdly [undoubtedly] the best blackcap variety yet introduced. It is of very large size, good quality, firm and handsome, and an excellent shipper. Plants vigorous and hardy, productive and free from disease. Each 20c, doz. $1.25 prepaid; by express per 100 $2.50.
CONRATH.--Resembles the Gregg in many ways, but is much earlier, better quality and hardier. It makes a very strong, healthy growth and is considered one of the iron-clad varieties. Each 15c, doz. $1.00 prepaid; by express per 100 $2.25.
GREGG.--Too well known to need description. Has been one of the leading blackcap varieties for many years. Each 15c, doz. 75c prepaid; by express per 100 $2.00.
WALLACE'S RED.--Considered by many to be the best flavored red raspberry grown. It is healthy and roots from tips; does not sucker; commences to ripen about July 1st, and continues bearing for several weeks. Each 15c, doz. $1.25 prepaid; by express per 100 $3.00.

HAYMAKER.--Purple red color cap, not so dark as Columbia or Shaffer but larger and firmer than either of these varieties; never crumsbles [crumbles] and stands up well in shipping. Considered the best purple cap yet introduced. Roots from the tips. Each 25c; doz. $2.00.

STRAWBERRIES.
Perfect flowered varieties are marked (s); the imperfect, marked (p), must have perfect flowered sorts planted with them or they will not fruit. Ask for price by the thousand.

ROUGH RIDER (s).--This new variety has proved to be one of the most vigorous growing and productive varieties yet introduced. The fruit is very large, slightly irregular, quite firm and of most excellent quality. Ripens from medium to late. Per doz. 50c, per 100 $2.25 postpaid. By express per 100 $1.75.
SAMPLE (p).-- Of large size, fine shape, good quality. It has been claimed that it produced 16,000 quarts per acre on the grounds of the originator in Massachusetts. CLYDE (s).--This has been one of the most popular varieties in the west for the past few years. It is of vigorous growth and very productive. The berries are a deep scarlet in color and moderately firm. Decidedly the best early sort. Per doz. 40c, per 100, $1.25 postpaid. By express, per 100 $1.00.
SENATOR DUNLAP (s).--A medium sized variety; very hardy, productive and vigorous grower. Remains in bearing until quite late. It is unsurpassed in quality. Claimed to be the best all round variety yet introduced. Per doz. 50c, per 100 $1.75 postpaid. By express per 100 $1.50.

SEAFORD (p).--Of extraordinary merit. Begins ripening early and continues late. A most excellent variety for home use. It is a deep, glossy crimson, of excellent quality. The plant is an exceptionally vigorous grower. Per doz. 40c, per 100 $1.25 postpaid. By express per 100 $1.00.

BLACKBERRIES.

BEDERWOOD (s).--This is one of the best known varieties for planting with Warfield or Crescent, as it produces a large amount of pollen. It is of excellent color and a good shipper. Ripens early. Per doz. 30c, per 100 $1.00 postpaid. By express per 100 75c.
CRESCENT (p).--One of the old standard varieties, which will produce a large crop where other varieties would fail, as it will stand an unusual amount of neglect. The berry is of medium size and fair quality. Per doz. 30c, per 100 $1.00 postpaid. By express per 100 75c.
NICK OHMER (s).--Very large in size, uniform in shape, dark glossy red, firm and excellent flavor. Season rather late. Per doz. 50c, per 100 $1.50 postpaid. By express per 100 $1.25.
