DAHLIAS.
The Dahlia is one of the showiest of all autumn flowers. Commencing to flower in July they are a perfect blaze of Bloom until stopped by frost. Especially fine for cut flowers. For best results start roots early in house. Late in the season, when dry roots become exhausted, we then fill orders with strong rooted pot plants.
Grand Duke Alexis.--Without exception the most unique and grandest dahlia ever sent out. Astonished everyone who saw it growing on our place last summer. Flowers are of largest size known in Dahlias, being 18 inches in circumference, and of most beautiful form, pretals [petals] being rolled up so that they overlap each other. Color pure snow white slightly tinged with delicate pink at center. None equal it in size or beauty. 25c, 3 for 65c.
Nymphaea.--There is not a dahlia in existence exceeding this one in decorative value. Color is a distinct, clear, light pink, shading darker toward the outer petals. Inner petals nearly white. Exquisite finish, soft, waxy, delicate and graceful; fragrant. 15c, 3 for 40c.
King of Fancies.--Hundreds of persons were delighted with this elegant new variety as it is truly a fancy flowered sort of striking beauty. Color is almost indescribable, being most elegantly marked, striped and blotched, crimson, scarlet, pink and pure white tinted; variable. Each 20c, 3 for 50c.
