Cold & frosty today. Mrs
Rodney Boswell sent for medicine
by her little boy. I am very sore
and rheumatic. Afternoon Willie
took Fanny Peirce (with "Frank" to
Bulwar's buggy) to Unity to Dr.
Dwyer's. Emory Snowden was here
about dark for advice & med: for
his son. Willie came home from
E Peirces about 10.30 p.m.

Ther. 36o TUESDAY 13th Wind
Commenced raining early this
morning and continued all day
Except that Edwd went to school
we were all at home all day-
except that I went to the mill
for the papers & W went to the store
& P.O.

Ther. 40o WED. DEC. 14th Wind N.W.
Willie walked to Riverside
Brighton. Chas Henry Johnson was here
for more "pension papers" for me
to make out for him. I went up
to Allan Farquhar to "prove" them.
I Rode over & prescribed for Emory
Snowden's boy - Ernest Boswell
was here & had a tooth extracted.
I paid Jax Collector "Waters" Ten
Dollars. as he was passing.
Mr C Colt was here for advice
& medicine for his daughter.
Edwd & I walked up to the store
after dark.

Cloudy
Ther. 40o THURSDAY 15th Wind S.W
Dull & cloudy all day. Eleanora
Bell washed for H I rode over to see
Emory Snowden's boy again and down
to Mr C M Colt's little girl. Fanny
Peirce brought W home. Afternoon he
drove "Frank" to Muncaster to be
gone all night. "Phil" & I fixed
the sash in the stable window.
Robt Blair was here after dark
& I paid him 9 a.c. which was
2.5 cts: more than was due him
Edwd having taken pictures for
him to that amount & which
I paid Edwd: some time ago.
