Bro Chas came for me & I rode
over to Riverside to prescribe for
Bro: Richard. I remained there
until after dinner. "Jim" Powell
was here to consult me. Ruth
Ann Bowen sent her sister
"Martha" for advice & medicine.
Dora & Fanny Peirce walked
over to call upon Mrs Downey.
Late in the evening Mr Chester
Colt came & I extracted a tooth for him.

Bro: Chas: came for me
again to go to see Bro: R. I rode
over on horseback again &
home to dinner. Alice Peirce
came over this morning and
went back without Fanny.
Dora & Fanny called to see
Hallie Bentley & at "Auburn".

I walked up to the store &
toll gate. Elizabeth Platt Waters was
here for advice & medicine for her little
boy. Fanny Peirce walked home before
dinner. Frank Snowden called & left
some "scrapple" his wife had sent us.
Edwd Gilpin (of Geileon) was here to
consult me again towards evening,
Jas: Grady was here for advice &
medicine for his infant son, about
9. o' clk p.m.

Ther. 36o SATURDAY 3d Wind N.W.
Clearing weather but
warmer. Jas: Henderson & wife went
to Balto. to do some "fall shopping"
expecting to return this evening by
moonlight. Louisa Bowen was here for
advice & medicine for herself.
Mrs Gilbert Smith brought my medicine
case from Riverside where I left it
when last there (on thursday). After-
noon Sister Lizzie called. Dora & Edwd
walked over to "Scott's" & to see about a
"wash woman". After supper Edwd and
i walked up to the store. Charles
Stabler called at the gate on return
from Rockville & left my fee $(1.00)
for attendance as witness.
