Ther. 73 SAT. AUG. 6, 1892 Wind N.W.
Clear & pleasant early in the
morning. I was called up to go
& prescribe for Mrs Ent (before breakfast).
I went on horseback . I drove
to Ashton again called at Ent's
at Emma Kings (to see Evans) and
at Alcorn's to see their infant
and Eleanora Bell's daughter
who is still there. Willie came
home from his Virginia trip after
supper. Sarah Stabler called
& spent evening here.

Beautiful morning.
Willie drove "Frank" to Rockville
to meet Dora, who came with him
yesterday to Washington & was to
stay with Hannah Archer last night
& come to Rockville this morning :
I walked down to Elkhorn's to see
Eleanora's child & Elkhorns infant.
After supper Fred Iddings called
on his way home (to Riverside) and
Willie took him on over there,
he looks very badly & is
completely run down.

Very warm or hot weather
again. Hard upon the sick -
drove over to Elden & Riverside
taking sister Harriet with me.
I left her at Riverside & Bro C
brought her home afternoon
W took Edwd to Walnut Hill &
Brighton to take "photos". Sophie
& Alice Peirce called in the
afternoon. I went to Riverside to see
& prescribe for "Fred", who is in
need of a complete "let up" and
rest in quiet & some treatment
in the way of "building up"

Ther. 80 TUESDAY 9^th Wind S.W.
Last night was the hottest
we have had this summer; and
I feel "used up" to day. I drove
down to see Eleanora's little girl
& went over to Thos Leas after
Alice Dickenson - Louisa Dorsey
came to wash for H. It has been
extremely hot to day. Margt Powell
brought her daughter to consult me
after supper. Jno W. Johnson rec'd
his pension check to day & had me
go to see him receive the money -
($120.40). He paid me his bill
$5.00
