Cloudy Rain & Clearing
72 Ther. TUES. AUG. 2d, 1892 Wind S.E.
Tilghman Mitchell's wife brought
their daughter Emma to consult
me before I was up. Louisa Bowen
came to wash for N - I slept none
last night, it rained one or two
showers after mid night. Mary
Winfield here to consult me for her
eye. Rachael Cole brought her infant
daughter for advice & medicine. I drove
to Ashton & to Elkhorn's & was caught in a
heavy rain. Edwd: with me "Louisa" came
& washed for H. After dinner I walked
up to see Billy Oldfield again & to the
store. We had a Demoratic meeting
in the evening in Oldfield's
paint shop.

Ther. 70 WEDNESDAY 3d Wind N.W.
Beautiful cool morning.
Afternoon I drove to Ashton
& to see Elkhorn's child again. I
went up to see Wm Oldfield this
morning. Wrote out a report
of the Democratic meeting for
publication in "Balto Sun" and
the County papers. I am not
feeling at all well, being weak
& good for nothing.

Ther. 73o THURS. AUG 4th,1892 Wind S.W.
Warmer again last night and
this morning but a nice breeze from
S.W. after about noon. I drove down
to Ashton & to see Elkhorn's infant
again. Willie Grady with me and
went again, having been sent for
to see Mr Evans. Sister Harriet
came in the evening stage, having
left Boston at 5. o'clock yesterday
afternoon and came directly through
without stopping in Philadelphia.

Ther. 74 FRIDAY 5 Wind N.W.
We had three thunder gusts
last night between bed time & 3.o'clk
this a.m. one of which was very heavy, it
rained in torrents for more than an hour.
I slept "none or next to none". I drove
down to see Elkhorn's infant again &
also to prescribe for Eleanora Bell's
daughter. Afternoon Edwd rode "Frank'
to "Riverside" & home before sun set.
Jno W Johnson was here for advice
& medicine for himself. I had
two new "steel toed shoes put on
Franks front feet at Thos Marlow's
shop.
