Still cold & windy. Willie went with
Edwd Magruder to a public sale at
W "Frank" Wilson's near the river. Afternoon
Dora & I went to the meeting house to the
funeral of Miss Elizabeth Holland
who died on Sunday night last.
I has been quite cold all day, and
the wind being strong from N.W. makes
it very "searching". I suffered with the
cold whilst at the funeral & was glad
to get home to the fire. Mrs Musgrove
was in the office to consult me this
morning.

with our overcoats & buffaloe
robe etc.

Disagreeable rainy day
quite a contrast to yesterday, which
was one of the loveliest days we
have had this spring. Afternoon

certificates of good moral and
social standing to send to Charley
to use at Richmond Va (if needed).
Willie drove "Fritz" to Brighton
& home to supper.

It was snowing rapidly
when we got up this morning
