The Club met at Edgewood.
All of our members being present excetp
W.S. Brooke & T.J. Lea who were absent
on account of sickness.
Wm Lea J. was the only guest.

A few of the members were on
hand in good time and enjoyed themselves.
Eating apples and drinking
cider (very pleasant employment)
until 1/4 of 5 Oclock, when E.P. Thomas
was appointed foreman, and after
reading the minutes of the last
meeting at this place we started
out for a short walk, the weather
being very unpleasant and the ground
being covered with snow we of course
did not get any farther than the barn.

Our host was putting in some
ice that was about 4 inches thick
but like the weather it was getting
soft and wet.

The very neat and comfrtable
appearance of everything about
the barn was spoken of by many
members, the barnyard was pronounced
the warmest belonging to the
club and the calltle all looked as
thought they lived at home, the
Durham bull was rather small for his age
