The club met at Oak Hill, all of
the members present - except W.S. Brooke
P.J.Stabler W.S.Bone and C.D.Brooke.
We had as guests Dr. F. Thomas Wm Lea Jr.
Walter & Roger Brooke.

Asa M Stabler was appointed foreman
at rather a late hour, and even then the
Sec. had not made his appearance & did not
until after the Club had started out for a walk.

We first visited the garden, the cabbage
attracted some attention, being burried in the shape
of a mound which was something new to some of
us and we would like to hear next spring
how it had kept, as it was so very convenient
and nice to get at during the winter.
I believe it was to have fodder set-up against
it to protect it from snow & freezing.

The hogs were next - claimed our attention
there were some fine specimens in the
pen fattening, the pen also was pronounced
as good as the best ___

Our host has a number of very fine cows
and a fine Durham bull that has improved
very much in the last six months, we can see
now the good that all the talk did about the
club getting a Durham bull, as there are several
owned by its members individually which is
probably better.

Every thing abut the barn seemed to be in
