"Sunny Side" and like the previous meeting, there were 5
members absent. We had as guests Jos. Nickoles Elias Hughes
Dr F. Thomas W. P. Miller & Wm Lea Jr.
W. S. Brooke was appointed foreman and after reading the
minutes of the last meeting held at this place we started out for
a walk
We first noticed the hog pen which was large and convenient,
and having several different apartments some of them containing
some fine hogs,

seemed to be pleased with, and it required so much less power
to work it than the ones we have been using.
The cattle looked well, a very fine pair of Steers were
noticed, they bid fair to make as fine a yoke of oxen as the
ones our host has been working for several years past.
A load of corn was noticed that was planted after the wheat
was taken off, our host informed us that it would make about
4 barrels per acre.
When we returned to the house and the minutes of last meeting were read
