7th Mo. 29th 1871 [July 29, 1871] The Club Met at the
House of B. H. Miller all of the nembers being present except
Semi. Hopkins R. B. & Gran Farquhar
There were quite a number of gentlemen present ac
Chas H. Brooke was appointed foreman at 5 O'clock and
after reading the Minutes of the last meeting at this glace, we
started ont for a walk.
A new Milk House was examined and the plan of it which was
rather a new one seemed to g4v4i0 be generally liked, and in case
some others wished to build similar ones perhars it would be well
enough to inform them that the brick can be had at any time in
quantities to suit.
The gardan Llic] was found to be in good condition, and
the water melons and Canteloups [212] promis[e]i an abundant
supply a little later in the season.
The Stock of hogs consisted cf 5 only all good specimens.
The ice house was in rather a delapidated condition and looked
as though the ice eci, all very near the bottom of it
The peach orchcrd locked_ flourishing, hut there was not
much fruit to be found.
There were some very fine cows in the pasture field &
1 half Aldern[e]y heifer that was very much admired.
