The club met at Belmont the
house of W S Bond and organized
at 4.40 PM with Chas H Brooke as
foreman & B. H Miller Sec [Pro?] Tem.

The absentees were P T Stabler, Sam Hopkins
& W S Brooke, and we had as guests
W Lea Jr S Thomas John Thomas &
Jos T Moore. After the minutes of the
last meeting at this place had
been read, we started on our rounds,
and were first called upon to notice
a very large lot of find poultry, Turkey
duck and chickens, which made some
of us who lost all by the cholera
somewhat envious. The stable was found
in about the same condition as last
year, but the yard had been cleaned
out, for the first time so far as the
club is aware. We also noticed
several lines of new fence, which
were all the more remarkable, from
the plentiful lack of fences at our
former visits, indeed there
was a very marked improvement in
the appearance of the farm generally
over that presented at our former visits
As usual at this place we walked
to the bone mill, and spent a half hour
or more looking over a lot of old rubbish
thrown from among the bones, which seems
to have a peculiar attraction for some of our members
