9 mo 3rd 1870

We met at the house of Frederick Stabler
and organized at 5 oclock, with [illegible]
as foreman. After reading the minutes of last
meeting here made our usual round of the
farm. The peach orchard soon claimed our
attention and detained us some time, to complete
the examination, which proved highly satisfactory.
We next passed over the potatoe field and by
the corn and returned to the barnard
where a lengthy discussion was held as to
the proper shape and proportions of a shed
which was being built.

Returning to the house the following questions
were discussed
1 Can a milk house underground with water
in troughs be made usefull
Yes by a large majority
1 Who will send to the Rockville Fair
About half our members
Is there any remedy for hog cholera
Nothing certain
3 What is the best kind of grass for
permanent pasture
