6 mo 4, 1870

We met at the house of W W Moore.

After the minutes of the last meeting here
were read [blank space] was appointed foreman
and we preceded to examine the farm.
Chickens & hogs first drew our attention.
Proceeding to the field we examined the cattle
and some horses. The garden was in fine order &
looking well. A piece[?] of very fine oats was seen
on our way to the house.

After reading the minutes of the last meeting
the following questions were asked and answered
A member gave the following receipt for white
wash. 1/2 [bus?] lime, 1/2 gal Linseed oil, 1 lb alum,
1lb glue, 1 quart salt.

Does it pay to salt hay
The majority thought not.
What should be done with bacon with skippers?
Use black pepper, or sell as soon as possible.
What shall I ask for Timothy hay delivered
a load every 2 weeks for a year
What is the time to cut timothy to make the
best hay.
As the bloom has fallen.

After discussing various internal improvements, we
adjourned to meet at Harewood 7 mo 9 1870
