In view of these facts can we make too great an
effort to abate the evil. Money used in this way,
would be much more satisfactorily expended, than in
buying sheep to be torn up.

Wm S Brooke & Roger B Farquhar were appointed to
confer with Charles Abert, upon the steps which should
be taken to get a County tax upon dogs.

R M Stabler was elected secm for the next year.

This concluded the business of the club for the evening.
There was a great deal of pleasant social talk upon matters
interesting to farmers, which was not in a form to be recorded
in the notes, making it a very interesting occasion.
