A capacious hay house was next visited on the
way we saw a very fine pair of steers and a
well grown alderny heifer 7 months old.
After our return to the house the following
questions were submitted.

1^st What is it worth to keep a colt from weaning
time till 18 mos old?
Ans 2.50 pr month

2^nd Shall I sell my alderny calf for $100 ?
Ans Generally advised to keep her.

Robt K. Stabler gave us the result of an experiment
with different kinds of fertilizers on Potatoes as follows
W S Bond Excelsior 25 lb Turners 22 lb Peruvian
Guano 18 Dis Bone 20 lb from the same cost of each.
The experiment of sowing wheat on a clover sod
resulted in an average crop of wheat & a poor
set of grass after it.

5^th How much Boughton wheat pr acre
Ans 1 1/2 Bus.

6^th What are gate posts ready hewed worth?
Ans $3. pr pair.

7^th What can I pay for Lime delivered
Ans from Nothing to 30ct pr bus.

8^th Shall I rub after sowing wheat?
Ans Not

9^th Our host asks what he shall sell Potatoes at as thy
run in the cellar?
Ans 60 cts (if he can get it)

10^th Does Timothy ever injure wheat?
Ans All but 2 of the club thought it did & one of
the opposition challenges the club to prove it.
