The Club met at Belmont
The absentees
were W. L. Brooke.
We had as Guests Jos T. Moore William
Lea Dr F. Thomas & W J Thomas. Robert
M. Stabler was appointed foreman under
whose guidance we started on our round
The first object was the foundation for
a potatoe house to be built this fall
Two very fine hogs were observed in the
young orchard, & two animals in a very
curious looking high pen proved to be of
the hog tribe too, but are very hard to keep
in bounds, we examined the barn & found
some very good hay & plenty of it too, the stables
were in good order. It being very late when
we started out did not go far and on returning
to the house after reading the minutes
of last meeting the following questons were
asked & answered.

1st How many will use a Drill?
Ans 10 Will & 4 will not.

2nd I have $15. pr acre to spend for wheat
what shall I use ?
Ans Majority us W. S. Bond Excelsior

3d How much excelsior pr acre will you use?
300 (9) 500 (1) 400 (4) pr acre
