The Club met at Philip T. Stablers
This being a busy time with most of our
members were rather late getting together
& had several absentees, & but few guests.

We started on our usual round with
W W Moore as foreman. The hogs were
unusually fine & looked as though our host
had changed his breed. Two very good
young colts were seen as we crossed the
pasture. The Oceanic Wheat was not
considered any better than some other
sorts of Red. the corn in the old
field was looking well for the season,
except a small patch said to be yellow
most of our members thought was too late
to sew a small patch of early rose
Potatoes which bid fair to do well.
We found it difficult to find the corn
rows that were manured in the hill
Before going in the house we gave a glance
at the garden & found it in excellent
order both Vegetables fruit & flowers
indicated care & good culture.
Quite a fine display of Reapers, mowers
Horse Rakes, Derricks &c &c &c.
was to be seen. After partaking of a
bountiful supper the following questions
were asked & answered.
