We met at Whitehall. All the members were present
except Benjn H. Miller, Wm W. Moore, P. T. Stabler and
Edward P. Thomas. We had as guests; Richard M. Janney,
Samuel A. Janney, Gerard T. Hopkins.
We commenced proceedings by appointing Roger B.Farquhar
our Foreman, an honor which he fell heir to as asequence
of having an heir born unto him.
The falling hogs were not in very good condition.
The barn was filled with a fine crop of tobacco.
The wheat field looked green and pleasant. An opinion with
which we observed a sow and farrow seemed to coincide, if we
