37o Cloudy & Clearing Variable
DECEMBER, THURSDAY 8th 1887.

Cloudy early this morning
but cleared off during
the day. Afternoon Friend
Lydia Thomas was here &
had a tooth extracted, Mrs
Saml Wetherald coming with
her. I went up to the shops &
had the luck to find my new buggy
shafts put togather and
ready for ironing. I brought
them home with me. They
are putting the weather boarding
on the new "garner" they
are building on the lot next
to us between here & the mill
It obstructs our view up the
road very much & is quite
unsightly. Jno W Johnson
"Shipley" came (after I had
retired) to have me look
over some pension papers
for him.

"Harvy" was her to have "tooth
ache " cured. Emma Jane
