I drove to Avalon &
got part of a set of double
harness from Mary Gilpin
called to see Mrs Oldfield
Richd Retzer & I worked at
repairing & fixing up the harness.
I took my double lines
up to Oldfield to have
new bucket put on them
Afternoon D^r R. Brooke
called to see me: I drove
to Ashton for some groceries
etc. & in the evening
we mended harness etc.
I have a bad "head ache"

DECEMBER, SATURDAY 3^d 1887.

Willie came home at
about 11.o'clock and we
got him off to meet Charley
at "Silver Spring" leaving
here at 12-25 driving
Fritz & the mare to the
buggy, they got home at
5.o'clock After supper
C & W walked up to the
store for tobacco etc.
We had some music in the
evening.
