I felt very rheumatic
this morning. Afternoon
Susan Davis & her daughter
"Emma Jane" were here for advice
etc. for the latter. I
drove to Ashton & sent medicine
(Fl Ext Cuscara Sugrada)
to Jno Cook via "Ednor"
Dora & Willie went to Elton
with "Fritz" & the buggy, to
return tomorrow morning
Willie recd: his pay for husking
corn from J.C. Bentley, & purchased
some shoes, dry goods etc. for
himself at Ashton.

NOVEMBER, WEDNESDAY 23d 1887.
Rather a dull morning
but partly cleared off
towards noon, and clouded
up again in the afternoon.
Sarah Stabler called
on way to meeting to
see Dora, who was not
at home. She & Willie
came home about 3.o'clk
afternoon. The boys from
next door helped Edward
& I pile the wood in the
wood house. Willie went
back to Elton riding
the mare, expecting to
say and help Ernest
for some time, husking
corn etc.
