NOVEMBER, FRIDAY 18th 1887.

Willie went to husking
corn again. Afternoon Bros
Jos: Paxson & Chas: were here
the former remained whilst
bro C took his horses and
had them shod. Mrs Mary
G Tyson & daughter were
here again for advice &
med: for the latter. After
dinner Willie took Bank's
mare home, & aftr tea
he went to Mechanicsville
to his lodge, riding the
brown mare. I slept badly
last night and feel quite
unwell today. feeling
old & low spirited. having
suffered with rheumatic
pains in my shoulders &
arms more than usual

NOVEMBER, SATURDAY 19th 1887.

Snowed just enough to
shew on the roofs & fences
about daylight. Willie
went to the field to husk corn
but it commenced raining
and drove him in before
he could finish the field.
Towards evening W. went
again to the corn field and
nearly finished before dark.
I drove down to Ashton for
coal oil, tea etc. The roads
are sloppy & muddy, and
altogather it has been a
dark dull day. raw & chilly.
