32o Cloudy. S.E
NOVEMBER, MONDAY 14th 1887.

Willie went to husking
corn again. Bro R. called
for advice & med: or prescription.
Mrs Mary G & Miss Alice
Tyson were here for advice &
med: for the latter. I drove
down to see John Cook
on Dr F Thomas's place
before dinner. Afternoon
I rode the little mare over
to R. Roland Moore's & home
just before dark: whilst we
were at supper there was
a "fire" to be seen in the
S.E. not very far off and
looked like buildings on
fire. It commenced raining
about dark.
Lydia Thomas brought her
little daughter to me to
have something done for
"tooth ache".

41. Cloudy & Clearing W.
NOVEMBER, TUESDAY 15 1887.

The fire we saw last
evening proved to have been
some old straw stacks on
one of the "Holland's" places
back of Wm F Thoma's
drove to Ashton & got Edwd
a pair of shoes & some articles
for H. Wm alias "Billy"Johnson
& wife brought their
little boy for advice & med:
Willie went to husking
corn again early. Afternoon
George Fuller was here for
advice & medicine for his wife.
The weather partly cleared
off with strong Westerly winds
again. I sent Edward up to
the store for "breakfast bacon"
and soap for his mother: after
tea he went over next door to
play "games" with the children
there.
