A very dull disagreeable
day. Willie husked
corn until about 2-o.m.
when it became too wet.
Alfred Warfield was here
for advice & medicine for
himself ("rheumatism")

Still another extremely
dull, gloomy, damp, chilly
day. Willie husked corn all
day having husked 16 shocks
supposed to turn out 1/2 barrel
to each or 8. barrels of corn.
It has been an unusually
dull day in every way. I did
not go from home and no
one was here to see me
