Dr. Frank Thomas was here
to see Charley (in the morning)
& paid me for him $3.60.
We had some music in the

68º Cloudy Rain S. E
SEPTEMBER, THURSDAY 22d 1887.

I was awake all through
last night with Edwd: who
I am convinced has (in addition
to his croup, symptoms)
"pneumonia" and will require
great care in the management
of his case. I slept most
of the forenoon. after dinner
Charley was covering his trunk
and I marked it for him.
A strange man who is passing
through the neighborhood with
his family brought his little
boy to me for advice etc.
