I went in next door to
see Bessie Robison after breakfast.
Mary Hopkins (Ned Hop-
kin's daughter) here for advice
& medicine. I drove
down to Ashton before
supper for coal oil etc.
Nelly came & took tea with
us bringing little Bessie
with her. I took them
home in the buggy.

Edward was quite "croupy"
this morning. Charley & Ernest
came & dined with us after
which they went back to Elton
Willie going with them on the
"bycycle" expecting to go to a
"dance" at Richd Griffith's tonight
& return tomorrow morning.
Ned Hopkins came for
me & I drove up to Allan
Farquhar's & gave another
certificate of death in the
case of Adelia Ames.
Elijah Leizear was here and
we had a settlement.
